(Los Angeles, CA July 22, 2014) — Creating his own midsummer classic, charismatic actor/comedian Cedric “The Entertainer” (“The Soul Man”, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire”, “Cedric’s Barber Battle”) is set to tee-off his second annual Cedric The Entertainer Celebrity Golf Classic at the breathtaking Spanish Hills Country Club on Monday, July 28th.

Top celebrities return for the second annual classic benefiting The Kyles Family Foundation, The Brotherhood Crusade of Los Angeles, and The Boys and Girls Club of Camarillo.  The 2014 player list for Cedric’s Celebrity Golf Classic includes: host Cedric “The Entertainer, Anthony Anderson, Julius “Dr. J” Erving, Alan Thicke, George Lopez, Jerry Rice, Willie Gault, Chris Spencer, Sugar Ray Leonard, Eric Dickerson, Ronnie Lott, Royce Clayton, and other celebrity appearances!

An anointed “King of Comedy”, television actor, TV host, and film star, Cedric The Entertainer is an internationally known icon who remains committed to improving humanity through comedy and fun. “Using Laughter to build character,” Cedric’s longstanding and tireless philanthropic endeavors have changed the lives of countless young people nationwide.

Cedric’s Celebrity Golf Classic provides much-needed financial assistance to the aforementioned community organizations to support the invaluable services and programs they offer to youth and their families.

The second annual Celebrity Golf Classic will tee-off at 10 a.m. at Spanish Hills County Club following breakfast and a putting contest.

Last year’s inaugural tournament was a great success thanks to the support of wonderful corporate partners and the participation of an amazing group of superstar celebrities from sports, television and film.
